We are pleased to announce that 8 Lebanese young fighters will be competing in this year’s IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting from July 6th to July 11th.
The 2015 IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA are set for Las Vegas, Nevada (USA), as the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) returns for the tournament’s second year.
The 2015 Championships are scheduled to take place during the fourth annual UFC International Fight Week between 6-11 July 2015. The fan experience is billed as the world’s largest mixed martial arts celebration, guaranteeing high-energy, all-star entertainment and concluding with a weekend of action-packed fights including UFC 189 on July 11.
The year 2014 saw 23 countries across 5 continents represented in the first ever IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA, between 29th June and 5th July. The initial 4 days took place in Cox Pavilion at the University of Nevada, home to The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale; while the IMMAF tournament final was held inside the UFC Fan Expo® at Mandalay Bay.
This year’s 5-day tournament commences at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Nevada (USA) with preliminaries from Monday, July 6 to Thursday July 9. The finals of the World Championship tournament will then take place in the UFC Fan Expo at the Sands Expo & Convention Center on Saturday, July 11, where IMMAF’s 2015 champions and medalists will be crowned.
Tickets are available at $21.00, with free entry for accompanied children and special offers available for UFC Fight Club members.
Our team will be competing throughout the event, and will be leaving Las Vegas on the 12th.
